Netherlands 2015

Spring in the "Land of Tulips"   The spring in 2015 staerted with a little European tour . The first country, I visited, was the Netherlands . I went to Amsterdam and took a bus to Keu kenhof for a daily tour. Amsterdam - The city of arts, bycicles and canals    The day in Amsterdam started with a little cultural program in the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum . It's really worthwile to visit th e se m useums for seeing some amazing arts! Since it was a sunny day, I took a canal tour around the city too. It wa s a 45 minutes tour, where I could see many beautiful houses, Westerkerk and Montelbaanstoren. Afte r the canal tour , I rented a bicycle for going around the city . Mingalaba Myanmar    A new country - a new adventure! After arriving at the airport in Yangon, a new cultural travel started in the heart of Southeast Asia.  Yangon - Between beautiful pagodas and dirty living areas      If you would like to describe the life in Yangon, then the word must be " discrepancy "! I never saw a city before, where the word was so appropriate. The living and tourist areas, where many people sold their street food and other kind of fruits, were so dirty of rubbish. Many dogs run around these areas too.  But if you went close to a sacred place like a pagoda, then the streets were very clean. At the Shwedagon Pagoda , I also met a tour guide, who could speak some German words - such a surprise! But even if there were tour guides, who could speak a bit German and English, it was really hard to find English speaking people. So the communication was based on a " hands and feet conversation "! Thailand - Let the adventure begin    In 2014, I started my first adventure! I wanted to get to know a new culture, so I decided to visit Southeast Asia. For my first flight to Asia, I decided to visit Thailand and Myanmar. When I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, my first impression was: " Why is it so unbelievable hot here? " Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the warm temperatures and tried to get used to it. Sawasdee khrap Bangkok    Welcome in " Krung Thep Maha Nakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yutthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udom Ratchaniwet Maha Sathan Amon Phiman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit " , which is the orignal name of the city Bangkok! The capital of Thailand - The Land of Smiles - is giving you an impression of a stressful and hectic life. But if you get used to the stressful life, you can also find nice places for relaxing. One of the most relaxing areas, I saw, was the Lumpini park.
