Iceland 2024
Exploring the Magical Wonders of Iceland The year 2024 was mainly characterised by my adventures in the North of Europe. In November, I flew to Iceland with my best friend Sebastian for two weeks to marvel at the magical landscapes and enjoy many wonderful adventures. The land of ice and fire impressed us with many fairytale sights and we were able to fulfill some of our dreams, such as seeing the magical and stunning Northern Lights or the majestic humpback whales in the fjords of Akureyri. On the first of November, we arrived at the airport of Keflavík and after an odyssey of getting our rented car, we drove to our first AirBnB in Reykjavík, a little bit outside of the city centre. We directly got in touch with the Icelandic winter, since it was snowy, icy and windy, but nevertheless, we went out again to buy some food for the dinner and the breakfast and directly got another shock by the prices. At least, for the next day, it was supposed to be sunny...
