New Friendship Memories around Germany Looking back, 2026 was a year filled with wonderful experiences, memorable trips and, above all, plenty of special moments shared with friends. While every little adventure had something that made it unique, two experiences in particular stand out from the rest. One of them was our beautiful trip to Saxon Switzerland. Ever since my days living in Göttingen, this spectacular corner of Germany had been on my list of places I wanted to explore, so finally making it there felt particularly special. With its dramatic rock formations, stunning landscapes and countless hiking trails, it certainly lived up to my expectations and became one of my favourite adventures of the year. My other - and very different - highlight was reuniting with Hanna in Regensburg and Freiburg.
